This … just happens sometimes. For the most part you can just ignore it, however if it is too much of a nuisance I recommend downloading a file copy of the project then dragging it into the editor. For me at least, It tends to stop Makecode from lagging and making infinite copies.
But yeah don’t worry about it much it happens a LOT
