'Game ask' does not show scroll text

I am using the game block ‘ask’ function, but it does not show the entire text across the screen. The dialog function does scroll text when it is too wide. The text that is not shown, you guessed it, is ‘high score’.

I can fix that!

I remember seeing somewhere that you made an extension for asking questions.

Oh no! My extension doesn’t work for this anymore. Maybe you can just splash it then ask it.

I was thinking about that as well. The splash has the longer explanation of what is being asked, and the ask has the shorter version. :+1:

I don’t think game.ask() ever scrolled…maybe put in a issue on Github?

I noticed in your game Fishy Fishy, which btw is awesome, that you use:

game.ask(“Continue with these”, “options?”)

So that “options?” appears on the next line. Since you are are only using script, is that a text ‘join’ statement in block code?

Nope, it’s a separate parameter. Press the + symbol on the block to expose the second string parameter.

No, an ask function has two inputs–the “title” and "subtitle.

Thank you for your explanations, I hadn’t noticed that before. Using the second parameter will most likely resolve my issue.
