Are we going to get any updates on the game? Don’t get me wrong, the Minecraft skin and the PFP’s are lovely, but the last update was seemingly back in February! Our last look at any progress was back in March! Do not get me wrong; Games are hard, and I am in no way trying to rush you, but I think it’s important to showcase what you have! (Not to mention how much the Minecraft Movie swamped this topic…) Hoping to see more Hoplings soon!

Hey brainiacs, here’s some more info regarding the hiatus I’ve taken from working on hoplings for the past few months. I’m not gonna be as enthusiastic here, because this is a bit serious, so feel free to ignore this if you want.
So, as you all know, it’s been a good bit since I made any significant announcements for hoplings and it’s future. And I have a good reason for that. First of all, life is hard. As someone with ADHD who’s juggling my mom’s back issues, my own issues with high school, an animation channel, a cartooning deviantart page, AND a game development gig, it’s hard to put all my eggs in the game dev basket because, well, life keeps putting obstacles in my way.
Second of all… I’m just one guy, okay? I’m sorry I can’t consistently pump out new content for you guys, and I really, really want to, but I just feel like there’s a lot of pressure lying on this game, and to make new features WHILE making sure those features work, WHILE making the interactions with the other things in the game not suck, WHILE making new levels, WHILE fixing bugs, and on top of all that maintaining my own real life?.. It’s difficult, and I can’t do all of it at once, so can I please just… Just take a second?

all of that aside, i understand that its difficult being a solo developer, i have tried it multiple times and those games have never seen the light of day lol, you did an amazing job on hoplings and its even more impressive that you did it all solo

i learned how to open crosh on my chromebook once and almost broke it by running random commands.
