Cool, this looks great! maybe you could add an indicator of where the player is placing the block!
This is a great idea! For a first build, this is really well done. I’m definitely going to try to add to this at some point.

Here’s a slight improvement, I added an infinite inventory and a place marker for blocks.

B - Seek Inventory
P.S. I haven’t done this type of thing in a while lol.
I think i found two bugs. When you press B you can see the tilemap in the background like you would without raycasting. Are you supposed to be able to walk through placed blocks?

The cursor feature is so cool!
As to the wall through bug, I noticed self sprite doesn’t appear in tilemap mode, if its Image is empty(or transparent), it can’t be block by wall in physical engine of Arcade. I didn’t have a clue why it happened yet, with a fast trying.
What I can say now is, the version should not the problem, cause walls work well in my project Minecraft-like Tilemap Editor, which using v0.3.2 too.
I will dig more when I have time…
