This is my game Sky Empire. It’s about this wizard who is fighting an empire of robots called the ANTA’s. For some reason I decided to make a boss fight first. it’s against this Robot called Smasher.
WOW!!! The art in this game is amazing, I love your detailed character designs and the animations are really smooth.
The gameplay is perfect, I was skeptical that you could fit enough strategy in with just 3 moves but the boss’s changing strategies makes it very fun and not repetitive. You really have to weigh your choices before deciding!
I cannot wait to see more about this game, what an entrance to Mae to the forums! (welcome!)
hi guys heres the update to the game I have added the main game loop of fight a wave of enemies (Smasher spawns on wave 10).
then go the hub and buy new spells with tokens which you get from destroying enemies right now theres only one buyable spell fire ball + the current one is called force dart.
Press b to buy the spell books at the hub and talk to the shop keeper who is the destiny diamond who in the lore the player is the diamonds apprentice ( I hid a secret message in his diallouge let me know if you find it).
Nice here’s some criticism. I think it’s a bit cruel for lack of a better term to start back at wave 1 if you fall off the map. It can even happen in the hub for some reason. I don’t know what the fireball does. Does it do more damage? Does it add an aoe? It’d be nice if there was a description describing what it did.
A bug happened when I decided to move on to the next wave, it gave me the option to go to the next wave while I was already in one, and after I finished wave 1, it took me to wave 3. After I performed the glitch the music bugged out and it lagged a lot. I decided to try the glitch again. I was able to skip two waves, and it got even more laggy, and the music even more buggy. And eventually it crashed. In order to recreate the glitch you gotta mash b when you choose to enter the next wave. Regardless, I love this update and can’t get wait to the boss.
in this new update the glitch with the destiny diamond is fixed a spell description for fire ball was added and falling doesn’t kill you instead you take damage and teleport back to the spawn of your current area you may also notice a new enemy the spike ship (the razor blade guys are called razorblaeders)
This game is fire. Visuals are great. I think you should reduce boss & enemy Hp to avoid repetition in basic attack patterns. Can’t wait to see where this goes!
that is a good idea I might not reduce health that much but ill be adding more spells and upgrades that increase your damage ill add other things to reduce repetition I plan on adding some enemies that spawn on later waves a mini boss on wave 5
