Here’s a sneak peak from my upcoming update to my Hollow Knight game, I’m really proud of it!
(Also note that the knight isn’t my art, although I did all the animations for it, check those out on the topic here)
Also, I can’t access any good pixel art sites, so I can’t work on the sword until I either find a good one or just use a PC instead of my Chromebook (it’s kinda inconvenient though).

I have a couple of announcements to make.
First of all, I’m now working on art for both a Kerbal Space Program game on Makecode Arcade (2D) and here’s a couple variations of a rocket:
- Base rocket, just a booster (no parachute)
- Rocket with fins, decoupler, parachute, and firing booster
^ This is more complex, I want to explain this a little.
Stage 1: Booster fires
Stage 2: Decouples from Stage 1, then booster fires
Stage 3: Decouples from Stage 2
Stage 4: Releases parachute
Second of all, I am also starting to work on a Godot game, so progress on my Makecode games will slow down the more I work on it.
And last of all, every week (Sunday to Saturday) I will accept requests for art to make, when I have free time I will work on the earliest, most plausible ones. Also, I feel like I do better at a lower resolution rather than a higher resolution, so keep that in mind. This will start as soon as this post gets approved.

Oh, and just to clarify, the requests are just for fun, just to give me some ideas for art to make and kind of expand my experience.

Some more of my pixel art!
I’ve been playing Satisfactory, so of course being a coder, I thought, “Why not make an automation game in Makecode?”. I guess I just don’t see how impossible this is on Makecode on a school computer of all things.
Anyway, that’s what I’m doing for now. For now, I’m calling this Iso Factory (It’s Isometric) and I finished the title screen (I did world generation as well, check that out on this topic)
This is the main menu so far, I still need to add a settings menu and a continue option, for when I get around to playable content. However, before I get to playable content, I need a player sprite. And since I still have no idea how impossible this will be, I want multiple skins! However, I don’t actually have a base skin to use as a template yet, so I will have to post that at a later time. I do have a block frame template, though, so anyone who uses this template to make their skin (must fit in the box) will have their skin in the game, provided it has 1. Animations for all 8 directions (walking) 2. A pseudo-3D feel, fitting with the isometric theme 3. A punch or attack animation for all 8 directions (for mining rocks and various other things). When I do get the skin template out, I may remove some of the requirements. If you really cannot make good enough art for this, you may instead post your idea, but I may not actually do it.
The block frame template thing:
Oh yeah, and here’s the palette:
