@randomuser why in the interview is the version of you basically just a blue human with boomerangs like each limb looks like a boomerang
no im gonna ge t buried 6 feet under or two metres under as a brit would say
When you submit a request, that inevitably means you are creating or, at the very least, presenting two options or paths that the questioned can take: acceptance or denial. In creating the concept of Presidential Cheese, you technically do not specify whether the âunavoidable obligationâ is your becoming an authoritarian-monarch if you are approved or whether you are approved or not. Logically, since you are submitting a request, it can be inferred that this prospect is only unavoidable once you have been approved. Therefore, since @randomuser declined the offer, the throne remains open to others
Technically though, there are 2 options: 1. Willingly Accept 2. Unwillingly Accept
Wow, thatâs beautiful!! Itâs insane how they mix 2d, 3d, and an oil-painting style into animation AND have all the colors!! ![]()
I made the persona a while back to represent myself in videos! I didnât want to just draw myself, or use Dragondog (Because sheâs really her own character, rather than a representation of me), so I needed a middleground. ![]()
As for the limbs, sheâs supposed to be a fairy so theyâre not really designed to hold weight
I just found the angular shape made the silhouette very unique!
(Although the persona is pretty old, so Iâve been considering redesigning it or replacing it altogether)
Oh. Whoops.
i am the earth I will self destruct if you donât give me full power over the MakeCode government
Spark is a similar type of character⌠You would probably think of me if you saw them but theyâre a separate character.
I donât have a personaâŚ
So @randomuser am I officially your assistant?
unlike you two my persona is reeyce/mage. While reflect is a character
I still love Dragondog!! Sheâs my favorite character Iâve ever made! ![]()
i love the fairy design! would be sad to see it go but its definitely more suited for the low poly 3d aesthetic so i can see why you would want to redesign her
October Update
Hi everyone!!
The feedback from my recent poll was very helpful in deciding which projects to implement! ![]()
While the results of the poll was close, Iâve decided to start on the âpublishing a Makecode game on steamâ project and ânew tutorialsâ project first, and then take on the rest of the ideas in later months!
Whatâs the plan for next month?
1st: Create a video tutorial on a requested topic! If you have any recommendations on what youâd like to see a tutorial on, iâd love to hear them in a reply! (Perhaps arrays?
)
2nd: Find which Makecode Arcade game to publish on steam! ![]()
Iâll be looking for the highest-quality games on Makecode and also taking any suggestions as replies in this thread. (You can 100% nominate your game!!)
There are a few requirements for the chosen game:
1. The game *can't* rely on people already knowing the MakeCode community!
The purpose of publishing the game on steam is to reach players who donât know about or use MakeCode. This means the game shouldnât rely on a userâs knowledge of the langauge or forums.
Unfortunately, games like âThe Makecode Forumsâ would be confusing to someone who has no idea who the characters are or how the forum works.
However, itâs okay if the game includes references to MakeCode as long as its still playable without knowing MakeCode (For example, if you had a user on the forum cameo in your game).
2. The game owner(s) must be okay with having their game modified and published.
We need permission before publishing the game. In addition, other users must be allowed to collaborate on improving the game. (So that developers other than the original owner might fix bugs, add features, update art, etc)
3. The game doesn't contain copyrighted material (Like fangames from sonic, undertale, minecraft, fnaf, etc).
Steam doesnât allow games to use other IPs without permission!
Other than that, there are no rules- We could choose a game of any genre, artstyle, skill level, anything! ![]()
Poll time!
- Replayability
- Art
- Story
- Gameplay mechanics
- Length of time it takes to play
- Popularity on Makecode
Hear, hear!
i would nominatate Card Delver and Red Line but i still havenât finished them haha. Robot survival I a bit too rough around the edges (which is why im working on the sequel) so thats a no for me.
I would probably go for Hebes! by @InvalidProject since itâs art, story, replayability, gameplay, length and popularity is so high. It does need some bugfixing for the final boss though.
Games like Magnate, by @Octodemon, Layer 6 by @CreativeUsername and Kentonia Isles by @ADM_F (idk if ADM would be fine with us continuing the game tho) are also really amazing contenders for being super unique and polished. However these are pretty unfinished. Maybe we could release a demo for free on itch instead of steam.
Woofwoofs Unnamed Rhythm Game is also amazing but maybe loses a bit of itâs charm out of makecode.
That was the first one i thought of as well! ![]()
And thank you for the rest of these suggestions, I hadnât heard of layer 6 or ketonia until now-- they are awesome!
can i nominate my game please (when its done)
