The history of the makecode forums

happy new year everyone! I wanted to make this pretty cool timeline on the history of the makecode forums since literally no one else bothered to actually document most of this for people to actually understand so here’s the entire timeline of everything on the makecode forums mainly stuff during the 2022-2023 period but if you want more stuff like this to go more into the lesser known parts or the 2024 part of the timeline which I had to cut out due to time constraints, recommend me some below down in the comment section

I don’t have problems with this but I don’t think it should be called history of the forums it should be called the history goldtopazs time on the forum. If it was about the forums and all its history it could have been something about the more widely know Makecode forums exodus or about the past problem of “new users hurting the forums” or about my joining and bringing new fantastic elements to the forum because I’m so awesome. the last one was a joke please don’t sue me.

Ok sorry yall about the post I made, I was lowkey trying to rush it at the time and I couldnt add all of the later parts and the massive amount of the other stuff that happhned during the makecode forums history, I will try to make a new one thats more bigger and better than this one

this is less MakeCode history, more hyper the dragon/gold topaz history. however, that doesn’t excuse how nicely organized and demonstrated this timeline is! I still love reading it :).

This is extremely biased towards you though… i feel there was no civil war, the hyper the dragon and coneguy thing wasnt even this bad, and stuff like game jams or the release of major games wasnt even talked about!
