[image] The MakeCode Forums Made with ❤️ in Microsoft MakeCode Arcade. Description: “The MakeCode Forums” is a game entirely based around… well, the Microsoft MakeCode Forums! In this game, you can: Check notifications (you’ll never have notifications) Reply to topics at certain intervals Move through three different topics at certain intervals Progress through an interesting story Personal Thoughts as the Creator: A lot of love was put into this game. There are also a lot of references from people in the MakeCode Forum. Fun fact: This game crashed my computer, with it’s 1641 blocks! I do hope you enjoy! Things to note: Use the WASD keys or buttons to move the mouse. Press A to click. The replies that you give affect your ending, so think carefully before replying. I want EVERYONE to reply what you thought of it guys! Come on, everyone!

As promised, I will in fact review the game. I remember using this old template I made, so I’m going to basically use it again, and provide a more comprehensive review at the end. Rating by category Artstyle ☐ A kindergartener drew it ☐ Down bad ☐ Average :ballot_box_with_check: Good (it is converted but I like the composition) ☐ Amazing Gameplay ☐ I’d rather watch grass grow ☐ Not very amusing :ballot_box_with_check: Alright (the story carries the game but the gameplay is very simple, you just have to make choices) ☐ Enjoyable ☐ Exquisitely masterful (it rocks) Story ☐ There’s no story ☐ So cliché ☐ Admireable ☐ Amazing :ballot_box_with_check: You forget you have a life (the forum is basically my life soo) Performance ☐ Doesn’t run ☐ Seconds per frame ☐ Stitched screenshots ☐ Partially smooth :ballot_box_with_check: Flawless Bugs ☐ Fallout 76 ☐ Constant crashes ☐ Lots of bugs, little crashing :ballot_box_with_check: Mostly smooth actually (it crashes if you type in nothing in the text prompt) ☐ Properly debugged :point_right::smiley: :point_right: Length ☐ Flappy bird (3 seconds) ☐ Average runner game (a few minutes) :ballot_box_with_check: Minecraft if you git gud (~20 minutes) ☐ Fledged RPG game (20 minutes - 1 hour) ☐ How is this MakeCode??? (1+ hour(s)) (It depends on how many endings you want to get) Difficulty :ballot_box_with_check: Cookie clicker ☐ Easy ☐ Easy to learn, hard to master ☐ Challenging ☐ Dark Souls Replayability ☐ One-time experience :ballot_box_with_check: For collectibles (endings) ☐ Every once in a while ☐ For sure ☐ It’s meant to be replayed And now, for my actual review. To put it shortly, the game is cool. I like a lot of things about it, so let’s name some of them. Firstly, thank you for including me as a playable character! That was pretty cool! The gameplay isn’t much for the majority of the playthrough, as it’s a choose your own adventure game. Basically, you choose an option and watch the story unfold. One criticism I have of this is that it’s often not very clear in which direction an option will take me. Like, I could think I have chosen all the right options but end up getting a worse ending than I hoped. There are however some quirks in the gameplay that I do like. For example, being able to open the notification panel. It’s kind of a shame you didn’t make any use of it, but oh well. Being able to click on topics is cool too, and I like the reset feature too! It stumped me for a second when I encountered it for the first time, but when I figured it out, I have to say I thought it was a super creative feature I’ve never seen in use before! Considering the art, while it is converted, it plays in nicely in the game and it really doesn’t matter. I like the effects a lot, as well as the attention to detail. As an example - the number of replies increases as more people reply. That’s a nice touch. Finally, the story. Obviously, the story is the entire point of the game, and it’s great. I love how it shows the true unity of the forum, and how many people you included. Sure, some kind of “hacker” might not show up and cartoonishly wreck the forum, but that’s not the point. Great stuff, really. And that’s basically the review- Wait, someone’s on the other line… [image]Brohann's 3D devlog Hmm… :eyes: I see that you forgot to close the first bracket. I’ll give you a C in grammar. Not to forget the missing full stop… :memo: Hmm… interesting… :memo: :memo: :memo: C-. Final grade. [image] ChimbroDaPro: This game crashed my computer, with it’s 1641 blocks! The possesive form of “it” would be its, not “it’s”, because “it’s” means “it is”. And since this is a critical mistake, that’s going to have to be a D+…Don’t try to beat me at my own game  Touché, @ChimbroDaPro

Personally, I love it. Makes me feel like a Forum Mom

MY EYES :rofl::rofl: this game is amazing!!

The Makecode Forums lore is intensifying everyday.

Glad you guys like it! I just want you to know that when @goldtopaz is saying “How did this even get approved?” at the start, he’s referring to @scamma’s post. (just small stuff) Enjoy!

Cool includes “all” of the big forum people. But I have on question where am I?

You are in-game! but the question is where am I?

This is so cool!! I replayed this like three times for the different endings, my posts are so accurate lol

It’s probably impossible to include literally everyone Besides, some people like me don’t post often enough to have a personality assigned to them, so it’d probably be difficult to write

YOOOO IM IN >xD [Screenshot 2023-12-11 5.14.21 PM] [image] THIS IS SO COOL! I LOVE HOW THE MORE YOU PLAY THE MORE SCAMMA TAKES OVER EVERYTHING!
