I am sick so I did this in 2 hours! It is a space station/ship thing.

I know it isn’t really with the prompt, but I really struggle to draw anything with anatomy, so I drew something mathematically creative instead.

I guess this all kinda boils down to phantasia, which basically means I struggle to visualise anything in my mind, and what I can visualise is blurry, lacking in details, and unclear. I couldn’t describe my family’s faces to anyone even if I was asked. I know it is a bit of an excuse for just being generally quite bad at art, but I would love to be able to have a vision of what I want the end product to be. I might do another piece now.

I met someone with aphantasia once, she’s an insane artist, far more skilled than me! I think your art is great though I can’t imagine how different and difficult it would be to art with aphantasia
Btw nice marks with the wheel, I think a geometrical pattern weekly could be cool

Phantasia, particularly aphantasia can actually improve some types of thinking. Like logical and spatial awareness. (It also means you don’t really have dreams or nightmares, at least not clear ones.) Something like 1-3% of the population has severe phantasia or aphantasia. Interestingly enough, my brother also has severe phantasia. I do think that it is entirely possible to be good at art and have phantasia, it just makes it harder.
