Hmm ok
Where can I apply?
Sorry, the wording must have confused you. ![]()
This is for my own games, but feel free to share your own if you want!
Welcome to the classic and iconic Pictochat, but this time your childhood classic has been adapted for the Makecode Arcade. Chat with others using Radio functions.
it’d be crazy if somebody was working on a high performance 3d level builder, thatd just be impossible, and theres no way they also optimized it to work on REAL hardware, right???
does “hazard” mean hazard to your device or
there\
i did what you said
you cant take back what you typed
the deed is done…
(dont ask why it says breakage update)
That would be crazy. Too bad no one would ever do that.
(Omg yeees that looks so cool)
Hazard is the selected object.
The arrangement of objects goes as follows:
Platform
Spawn
Hazard (kills you)
Placeholder
Coin
Erase
You can switch between these in the mini-menu by pressing the menu button.
Must be a dream.
ive implemented an overhead view for editing, especially as you cant rotate the camera in the editor lol.
you can toggle between the 3d and 2d mode though.
a couple other things i havent mentioned yet:
this is one of the more low power devices by the way. would work better on a device like the xtron pro.
I don’t know, mines pretty optimized already
Bro just straight-up dipped and then came back with some PEAK
2 months later in this very topic. @Abstract , you genius…

The last time we had a seemingly-functioning 3d platformer (other than using the raycasting extension) on MakeCode Arcade was like nearly 3 years ago ( 3d platformer ), and you say that there is actually a 3d level editor in-game? Man, this would be incredibly revolutionary if you actually manage to pull this off successfully.
did you send this to the wrong forum or
that’s pretty cool, faster than i thought possible, that’s for sure…
as for me, i’m gonna stay wireframe, since yk, there could be like 100 tiles or more at once in a level lol
I kind of have. But it still needs work, I plan on adding lots more features in the meantime. I’m making this mostly so that if I ever say, made a 3D platformer engine for people to use, they can import level codes from the level building game.

I’ve decided to include browser events support. You can drag around the camera with your mouse, and use the scroll wheel to change layers. You can also use it to look around in play mode.
Oh wow 3D rendering with platform physics?
You wouldn’t happen to have already shared it, have you? If not, PLEASE ![]()
