I do still plan on my idea being a horror game and it’s will be very hard to overcome the enemies so that the player still feels almost helpless. Kinda like how resident evil has a gun, but it’s not some perfect weapon. It’s limited and mostly ineffective.
And your story is cool too, it’s just that I want one that is a bit more like playing though a narrative and not one that has to be solved to understand anything. I’d like the player to have a base understanding of what events happened because they played though those events, but they don’t need to know every little details of why things happened. That way players still get to dive deeper to learn more but they can still play the game without it.
