I do still plan on my idea being a horror game and it’s will be very hard to overcome the enemies so that the player still feels almost helpless. Kinda like how resident evil has a gun, but it’s not some perfect weapon. It’s limited and mostly ineffective.

And your story is cool too, it’s just that I want one that is a bit more like playing though a narrative and not one that has to be solved to understand anything. I’d like the player to have a base understanding of what events happened because they played though those events, but they don’t need to know every little details of why things happened. That way players still get to dive deeper to learn more but they can still play the game without it.

sorry for the late reply, didnt see your message. yeah i think thats a good idea! from what i know, this is originally supposed to be 3d pacman right? in pacman you can get those big balls that make you able to chase the enemies so we could add that? or yk in fnae you can play the sound to lure epstein away but if you use it too much it doesnt work? i was thinking we have a deterrent that can only be used a few times until the scarlets develop an immunity. we can have a cutscene at the start for lore and to dive deeper into lore you can have snippets as they play

Yeah, something kinda like that, give the player very little power but still power nonetheless
