I signed into makecode and had a shock when all of my games were erased. Everything. It’s the same account. I recently had to re-sign in to my chromebook. (It’s a school one) would that be it?
@Skittlesaersuper were you signed in to your account on makecode?
all makecode projects are stored in your browser storage. if your history gets cleared for all sites (as some school laptops like to do), your projects can end up being deleted. if you create a makecode account then your projects should be synced to our cloud, so that’s the safest option to make sure they don’t get mass deleted.
If you had to re-sign in, and you didn’t power it off, it probably restarted for a forced update. If the update resulted in a cleared history/cache then any projects you made while not signed in to a Makecode account are probably gone, sorry. Also note that if you make projects, then sign in to Makecode, they are not saved in cloud until you open the project while signed in
ok i’ll try that!
Success! I just had to connect to the cloud. Phew
Yeah this happened to me. I was considering quitting at one point lol. But now GitHub comes to the rescue…only for me to be locked out of it.
