In summary, the issue is that students’ code just disappears sometimes, even if the little symbol affirms it has been saved to the cloud, and even if they grab a link to the game at the end of the class period (publish, copy link, save it in the notebook).
Is there a guaranteed way to avoid this? Have we been doing something wrong? I feel terrible when they lose one or more days of work and have to go back to program it again, especially since we’re in the middle of working on the CREATE Task.

I’m so sorry this happened to your students! Losing work is the worst. Investigating this issue, we found a recently-introduced bug in the save system that would only affect signed in users. It could potentially erase project contents. This might have been the cause of your student’s data loss. A fix was deployed today.
