I will make this character.
But from what you described, it will probably be the worst in the game for 1 reason.
He has no recovery.
If you played the Sarge test, you could see that you can fall and die in this game and there will be knockback.
Also, how heavy is this down B.
Like bowsers down B or Kirby’s?
Bowsers spikes but takes a while to start up, but kirbys is instant, does not spike and can easly miss, letting you Self Destruct.
Also, The Jab attack has been replaced with a dash, meaning that you can dodge that and with no recovery, you die.
I can change other things, but i am keeping the up b.

I would also like people to Submit stages instead of characters at the moment.
I will do the base roster and then people can vote for the next character.

@Archer_Bright To answer question 1, I don’t have any direct tips but I will say you will Definitely need:

I have some screenshots from the Original game, they’re not the best references but, I hope you find these useful:
To answer question 2, Most of the attacks are based off of the on in the game:
Neutral B: Red Pencil (Fires a fast pencil projectile that deals massive damage and Recoils 10%)
Side B: Eraser Slide (Rides on an eraser and deals a decent amount of damage)
Up B: Pencil Uppercut (Does a rising attack with a pencil and deals medium damage)
Down B: Pencil Counter (A counter that always does 10 damage when activated)
Neutral Air: Pencil Flip (Kinda like Pichu’s Neutral air. Does a flip that deals a small amount of damage)
Forward Air: Air Slash (Like Ike’s Forward Air. Swings a Pencil dealing medium damage)
Back air: Back Slash (Like Sora’s neutral Air. Does A simple back slash that does medium damage)
Up Air: Up Slash (Again, Like Sora’s Up Air. Does a simple Up slash that does medium damage)
Down Air: Pencil Slam (Like the final part of Ike’s Aether [Or Up Special/Up+B]. Slams the pencil to the ground dealing medium damage)
Foward smash: Charge Slash (Like any normal Sword character Forward Slash but with a pencil. Does high damage)
Down Smash: Double Sweep (Like Chrom, Ike & Roy’s Down smashes, Does a slash aimed at the legs. Medium - High Damage)
Up Smash: Upper Power Slash (Like Marth & Lucina’s Up Smash. Swings a pencil to the air. High Damage)

Stage Idea: Couch Warzone
The pillows are platforms and so is the green chip bag. If the figures on top could stay, it would be a very cool map! Maybe use scaling if you want to scale characters down for this map.

Development is very well underway. Still have not programmed the AI, but Richard is nearly done and I have a working character select screen Ready. I also have a few details about the game.
The game will either be called Pixel Smash: Meele or Pixel Smash: Rivals

Are you planning on adding Items? I mean, like those things you pick up and throw in SSBU? Cause I was bored and decided to make the Bumper and Bob-Omb from SSBU (except the Bob-omb is replaced with MiniCube, a character from the Fourth Dimension).
