In COSMICA, you play as a cybernetic hive-mind intent on indefinite expansion. Your colony has been dropped into a galaxy, and once you conquer that one, you will get stronger and then move to the next.
How to Play
COSMICA is a single-player RTS, and will require a keyboard and mouse to play.
Drones and Stations
Drones are your units. They will automatically shoot the closest enemy controlled entity (yellow) within range. You may see their range by hovering your cursor over the unit.
To move the drones, you must first select which ones you with to move. To do this, click and drag the cursor. Once you have selected an amount of drones, the drones you have selected will be highlighted, and a line will be drawn from them to your cursor. You may right click to cancel the movement, or left click to begin the movement of the units. Keep in mind that the more units you have, the more they will be more spread out, to an event horizon.
Enemies
Enemies, colored in yellow, include the following.
Uncontrolled Stars are stars which you have not yet conquered. To capture a star, you must first destroy all Planets which orbit it.
Flares will fire projectiles at your drones at a rate of one every five seconds. One projectile will destroy one drone on overlap.
Resources and Satellites
On the bottom left of your screen, you will see text displaying the amount of resources you control. Your resources are the currency which you will use to build Stations, Satellites, and Drones.
The more Satellites you control, the more resources you generate. Satellites generate 10 resources per second each. Press the build button (E on keyboard, technically console B) while your cursor is over a controlled (green) Star to build a Satellite for 1000 Resources. You can only have a maximum of three satellites per star.
Stations
Stations are the way in which you will create new Drones. For 500 Resources, click on a Station and it will begin to produce. Clicking multiple times will cue up multiple productions, allowing you to place an order and get back to conquring.
You start with one Station, and can create more for 4000 Resources by pressing the build button (E on keyboard, technically console B) anywhere. The station will spawn on your cursor, but will be attacked by any flares nearby.
Game Loop
When you begin the game you will be presented a choice of three upgrades. After conquering a galaxy, you will be presented with this choice again before you are presented with a new galaxy for domination. Every few galaxies the game will get harder. There is an end to the game.
This is probably the longest game I have ever made. It takes around 30 minutes to complete one level, and there are 14 levels. It is extreamly laggy, and sometimes it crashes the simulator for some reason. Have fun!

Nice game!! but here’s something that you could do and this can be said to most your games. please add tutorial so players can play learn at the same time. Instead of reading cause I’m not rlly a reader
you could always add mobile support or make the enemy ai better there must be something to do

That’s a good point. It’s just that making tutorials for non-platformers is really hard! Also I was really rushing to get the game done at the end there. I guess I could add a tutorial with the recent extension, but I am kind of sick of working on that game and I have other things that need doing.
