Moyou throws another disc and it slices a bug’s antenna.
Bug: “SCREEEEK!!!”

I chose to submit it now for I have a busy schedule the next few days and won’t get a chance to then. I was going to add power-ups and more enemies, but you can’t tell they’re missing, right?
Following the game’s theme I decided to do something fun and use a limited palette, utilizing different patterns! I’m using the image-mapping extension to draw different textures onto unused colors. Pretty Cool!!
Controls:
- Move with arrow keys/WASD
- Shoot Discs with space bar/A
Gameplay/Story:
- Protect the people of the city by destroying the mutant bugs that impend danger!
- Use your disc throwing ability to fend off the insects!
- Use the gift of invincibility to block the bug’s poison darts!
- Defeat bugs, advance a level, protect city folk, repeat!

Space shooter but actually good? I can’t tell, i’m buns at shoot-em-ups. Music is “other” by TeddyB.
Featuring 9 waves of enemies and a bossfight at the end! Upgrade between waves and keep your health in check. Swap between your full form with star bullets and a faster comet form with a cool buster!

Here’s the game… with literally, no gameplay, story, or ANYTHING to make it worthwhile… anyway here you go.
After many, many hours and tears, I’ve at last finished this game! I’m really tired…
Ahem, anyways, in this game, Captain Scratcher’s evil robot army is invading the peaceful city of Make-opolis! It’s up to the mighty, the one and only, MakeCode Man to save the day! (Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to actually add Captain Scratcher, let’s just say you beat him up offscreen)

Controls:
The controls are pretty simple, move around with arrow keys, aim with the mouse(sorry mobile players 
), punch with left click, and use your laser vision with right click.

Mechanics:
There’s a total of 30 waves, and after each one, you get a sweet upgrade! Every 5 waves, you get an EPIC upgrade, which is extra powerful, and can give you some VERY strong attacks… wink wink. As you progress, more and more enemies will spawn and they’ll have more health, and some new enemies will appear as well!

Tips and Tricks:
I will warn you, this game CAN be pretty hard… if you have trouble landing punches up close, focus on upgrading your lasers. In fact, the laser epic upgrades are literally the best in the game, as seen in my sneak peaks from before. It’s a shame that Captain Scratcher has scriptonite, otherwise MakeCode Man would dismantle the army without any difficulty.

Tips and tricks
The tutorial is in-game, but if you can’t get past some levels there are some things the tutorial does not go over.
Enemy sight
Enemies see in a straight line in front of them, so jumping over their heads in a great strategy to not be seen.
Down dash
It doesn’t say it in-game, but if you hold down and then press A you will dash downwards. This will kill any enemies in an area around where you land, which can be quite useful.
I think that’s it. I might post a more in depth guide to beating some of the harder levels later if people are having trouble.
Developer’s notes
This game was really fun to make! I will not be posting a Rune Log on the development because it was honestly really smooth. There is some music in the code, but I couldn’t implement it in time and I believe that is one of the main failings of the game. Have fun playing!
