the lore is the train is nearly running of the edge of a cliff the pillar holding it in place is burning and there is green fog everywhere

The sun has been made into the last torch. To fuel the last train, heading for a sanctuary in the farthest corners. Around them, the remnants of the once great powerful civilization, swallowed by the green mist that caused this calamity.

Imma one up myself:
โHell. That is what remains. Slowly our train runs, its fuel slowly depleting. We cannot outrun the mist. We cannot reach the end. The tracks stop soon. The heat, our sun forged into a torch by ancients, is what is left of our light. Our civilization, no matter how glorious, has fallen to time. The Kings below have come, with their Meanwhiles and Neverweres, with their Somethings and Nothings, to rule this world. And we can only pray.โ
