Here’s the Demo so y’all can check out the current state of the game, please know that this is not the full version of the game yet so it is lacking a LOT of features, blocks and stuff.
There is going to be a tutorial in future to teach all the basic mechanics in the game but as of now I’m gonna list the controls the old-fashioned way:
[L/R]: Move Left/Right
[Hold U]: Jump
[Hold D]: Crouch
Use the same for when moving the cursor. in the inventory or hotbar
[AA]: Interact with Blocks (only the Crafting Table for now)
[B] Back (Menu) / Toggle Sprint (World) / Split Items (Inventory) (also very buggy)
[BB]: Drop Items (Inventory)
[Hold B]: Close Menus (Crafting Tables, Inventory, etc)
[Menu]: Toggle Hotbar (look at the light next to the hotbar to know if it’s on)
Keep in mind that due to Makecode’s limitations, the world has had to be minimized down to 150x100. I am also aware of the bugs I just want to release this version first.
Have fun in the demo!
I am also probably going to create new posts on each version release.
I just wanted to say that this looks amazing! I hope you are proud of this game that you made, and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! (Also, what are you planning on adding to the game?)
Thanks! Well, I’m planning to add a lot which I don’t think I’m gonna list out but some cool things I wanna add are data saving (of course), the Nether and the End, and probably random world generaion but right now I’m still skeptical of it.
really fun but i think you should make it so that u can pick the amount of blocks you use to craft and stuff because it took me 5 minutes to craft a crafting table because i had to place the block first then place them in the box one by one and after i put 1 in i break a block put another in and place another until i get a crafting table. but other than that AMAZING
I’m planning to release 1.0 but it’s gonna lack random world generation, same with the dimensions (prolly 1.1 for dimensions, world generation is gonna take a while for my brain to figure it out).
